How to make gift boxes under the Christmas tree

In December, active preparations for the New Year holiday begin. It is necessary to purchase gifts for all relatives and guests, to decorate the house. If you want to make beautiful gift wrapping boxes that you have made or purchased for your loved ones, do not deny yourself this pleasure.

Necessary materials

Consider how to make gift boxes under the tree and first of all you need to figure out what materials you may need. If it comes to the manufacture of simple structures, you need to prepare:

• Thin color cardboard or whatman paper can be used.
• From office supplies, take a pencil and scissors, a ruler and a stationery knife.
• You may need a hole punch to make small holes.

Box-house - a non-standard solution

1. Do you like to surprise people? In this case, you should consider the option of making a box-house.
   To get started, you will need to save and print the template below. Print it on beautiful paper, it can be purchased at the stationery store. If printing does not work, transfer the chart to the paper yourself.

1. Now cut the workpiece and bend as shown on the template (in dashed lines).
2. In the bottom, make two slots, insert the tape into them. Use a clerical knife to cut holes.
3. Next, you need to glue the structure. Cut two rectangles from suitable paper to make the roof. Bend the blank 1 cm and also make slots where you will insert the ribbon in the future.
4. Insert the ribbons into the previously made slots and put a gift inside the boxes, tie a ribbon on the bow.

Round packing box

1. You need cardboard, you can take it from some box. From it cut four circles of the size you need. Please note that two of them are worth making a little less than the rest.
2. Cut two strips of beer cardboard, their length should be equal to the radius of your circles. Do not forget to carry out a stock on an overlap. One strip is wider, the second narrower.
3. Using double-sided tape, glue two circles together, according to their size.
4. Of the circles that are smaller in size will make the base. To do this, apply glue to the sides of the mug and glue the strip. To increase the strength, you can stick several boxes.
5. Follow the same procedure with the lid by pasting a narrow picture strip around the perimeter of a larger circle.

Make a bow from the ribbon and decorate your box with it.
