To create interesting and useful devices, you can use the details from the printer. Consider several options:

Trinket

If you know about electronics, make a shocker keychain. To do this, you need a board, which is one of the parts of the printing device.

Wind generator

The printer is equipped with powerful engines that can be removed and build a wind generator from them. With it, get electricity.

First you need to remove the stepper motor, and then assemble the rectifier (you will need a pair of diodes). To make the blades of PVC pipe and turn the sleeve with a slate to the size of the shaft. Next, put the sleeve on the shaft and fix the blades, insert the engine into the pipe and fasten with bolts. Fix the aluminum vane on the pipe from the end.

This design should be placed vertically.

CNC machine

For the manufacture of the machine you will need the following parts:

  • engines and housing matrix printer;
  • self-tapping screws;
  • bolts;
  • bearings;
  • duralumin corners;
  • construction stud

You should also have a complete set of tools for manufacturing this equipment.

First you need to make a case for the machine from plywood, preparing two 37 x 37 cm squares for the sides, 9 x 34 cm for the front wall and 34 x 37 cm for the rear wall. Then fasten them together with self-tapping screws.

Y axis Having made a dowel 0.2 cm, attach duralumin corners to the flanks at a distance of 30 mm from the bottom with self-tapping screws.

ATTENTION! Corners should be bolted from the center.

Screw the bearing on the bottom, using bolts. Then, for the engine, drill a hole 5 cm from the bottom of the case and drill a hole in the front wall with a diameter of 0.7 cm. A stroke screw will pass through this hole. In the nut under the number M8 should also drill a hole.

X axis. Remove the steel guides and carriages from the housing of the printing device.

Z axis. Make of plywood number 6, gluing its elements. As holders of this axis, use a board 150 mm by 90 mm. Its upper and lower sides should have dimensions of 50 by 90 mm.

For the machine to make the holder, then make a hole at the bottom, so that the Dremel could pass there. Next, fix the holder with the base of this axis. Upon completion of the manufacture of all parts to assemble the axis Z.
