Instructions for the conservation of boilers

It is possible that the device may be in the idle position. In such a period, the entire mechanism is exposed to the likelihood of corrosion. To prevent this, it is recommended to use only conservation methods. About their varieties and about the features of each will be discussed in this article.

Instructions for the conservation of boilers

We will analyze in detail the most common methods that will help protect equipment from destruction.

Gas method

Let's go straight to the core of the process. First of all, the space is supplied with gas. By interacting with wet surfaces of metal, an obstacle is created for the formation of corrosion. The mass completely squeezes out the air. The following elements are excellent for this application:

  • Helium.
  • Ammonia.
  • Nitrogen.
  • Argon.

There is a special algorithm by which the manipulations are performed:

  1. Gas is supplied to the water, thereby squeezing out the liquid.
  2. Further, the lower pipe is overlapped.
  3. When a pressure of 0.013 MPa is reached, the flow stops flowing.
  4. After that, the upper part, which is connected to the gearbox, is also blocked.

REFERENCE! Of course, it is worth periodically checking all the parameters and monitoring the pressure.

Wet preservation method

If we talk about the principle of the method, then it is worth mentioning a special fluid that is intentionally used to prevent the appearance of rust. Great for the presented manipulations antifreeze. However, it is worth remembering a rather high cost price and a considerable degree of fluidity. In addition to this type of concentrate, there is also a mixture of water with a small amount of sodium sulfate.

IMPORTANT! Concentration should not exceed ten grams per liter.

As for the process itself, this is the following diagram:

  1. To begin with, add this mixture with a crimping pump.
  2. Further, the fluid yields from the reservoir.
  3. Thanks to such a system, the metal cannot rust.

Dry preservation method

Despite all the advantages of the previous methods, this one is no worse in practice. A feature is the high-quality drying of all channels from the inside. The process is as follows:

  • The product is blown with warm air.
  • Thus, all the moisture inside is evaporated.

ATTENTION! The burner is first turned off.

By slowly eliminating moisture, the effect of eliminating metal is created. Therefore, small holes should be made so that the substance is absorbed. Quicklime or potassium is a fine powder. The main thing is that it be chloride. But it is worthwhile to understand that periodically it will be necessary to change them for new ones.
